Overview

With the VersaVoice One Number service you only need one number on your business card. It’s your one number for office, home, mobile, fax and voice mail. You'll pay only 2.4 cents per minute. When someone dials your One Number service they will hear your “Personal Greeting”. You can personalize this greeting yourself and it can be up to 90 seconds long. In this greeting you may indicate any of the following options:

Press [1] – To speak with me. Caller can also hold the line and the call will be connected. Calls up to three follow-me numbers simultaneously or in a sequence. When a caller presses 1 the system will place them on hold, play on hold music and ring your follow me number(s). When you answer your line, our system will say “This call is for…” and your will hear yourself say your name or your business name in a recording. The system will also let you hear the Caller ID number and/or Call Screening name of the person or customer that is waiting on hold. With the VersaVoice One Number service you will always be able to differentiate personal between business calls before you actually speak with the caller. After hearing who the caller is and/or where the caller is calling from, you will have option of pressing 1 to speak with them, pressing 2 to send them to voice mail or pressing 3 to send them to another phone number.

Press [2] - To leave me Voice Mail. Callers may leave up to a 90 second message. Messages can be retrieved via phone or internet.

Press [3] - To Page me. Allows caller to enter a callback number.

Press the Start key on your fax machine to send me a fax. Caller can also call your toll free number directly from their fax machine and the system will automatically recognize the incoming fax. Faxes can be retrieved from any fax machine or via the internet.

Examples of Service

The first example is for a home based business that wants to project a somewhat larger image to their customers but doesn’t necessarily need to offer several menu options…

“Hello and thank you for calling Investment Strategies LLC, where helping you invest is our priority. To speak with an investment strategist, please hold the line and someone will be with you shortly.”

Seconds later the system says “Please hold while your call is transferred”, plays professional music on hold and begins to ring your follow me number(s). This VersaVoice subscriber enjoys the music on hold feature and the initial greeting presents a more corporate look to the caller. Also, whenever a call comes through they will know whether it’s a personal or business call before speaking with the customer.

Next is an example of an entrepreneur that’s always on the go. At any given moment he could be in the office, at home, or on the road. He values his relationships with his clients, so it is imperative that he makes himself easily accessible...

Hello you’ve reached the office of William Anderson. If you would like to speak with me press 1 and I’ll be with you shortly. If you would like to leave me a message press 2. If you would like to send a fax simply hang up and call directly from your fax machine.”

This VersaVoice subscriber enjoys the system being able ring him at three different locations. Also, if he can’t make it back to the office he can conveniently access his faxes through any web browser or fax machine while on the road. At times Becky and her husband are not available to answer calls, so they mark the mailbox “unavailable”. The VersaVoice One Number service stores 2 different greetings that you can toggle betwwen. The “Personal Greeting” and the “Unavailable Greeting”. In the “Unavailable Greeting” the message is basically the same except they only instruct the caller to leave a message instead of giving them the option of speaking with them. You can toggle between the “Personal Greeting” and the “Unavailable Greeting” at anytime through your touch tone phone or via the internet.
